Hyperhidrosis Clinical Study
Hyperhidrosis is the medical term used to describe excessive sweating that may or may not be related to heat or exercise. Hyperhidrosis can affect certain areas of the body or the whole body. It frequently ruins clothing and can cause social anxiety and embarrassment.
Southeastern Dermatology is taking part in a clinical study evaluating a medical radiofrequency microneedling device called Morpheus 8 for the treatment of excessive under arm sweating (axillary hyperhidrosis). The study will last approximately 28 weeks (about 6 and a half months) comprising of 1 screening visit, 2 treatment visits and 3 follow up visits. Eligible participants must be at least 18 years of age. Compensation is available.
