Deborah is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Dermatology Nurses’ Association, and Sigma Theta Tau International, the Honor Society of Nursing.
Dawn has over twenty-five years’ experience in the medical field. A graduate of the Cleveland Institute of Medical and Dental Assistants, Dawn has worked in several medical specialties including plastic surgery, otolaryngology, family practice and dermatology. She began at Southeastern Dermatology in 2003 as the Practice Manager. She holds a bachelors degree in management, is a Certified Medical Practice Manager and a Certified Dermatology Coder. She is a member of the Medical Group Management Association and the Academy of Dermatology Managers.
Mary Huggins is a licensed aesthetician with over 18 years of experience in a medical setting and over 14 years experience in a dermatology medical spa setting. Mary enjoys the challenge of treating various skin conditions and age related concerns. “Healthy soul, healthy skin will forever lead to a happy life,” is Mary’s personal motto. Providing clients with state-of-the-art aesthetic care brings Mary great personal satisfaction.
Mary Ann Morris
Mary Ann Morris joined our staff after completing an internship as a medical assistant. She is a recent graduate of the Medical Assistant Program at the Tennessee Technology Center. Mary Ann finished highest in her class with honors of valedictorian. Mary Ann brings a wealth of information to her role as Medical Assistant. Mary Ann Morris obtained her Medical Assisting Certification in November 2010.
April Langley joined our staff as a Medical Assistant in 2010. She is a recent graduate of the Medical Assistant Program of Tennessee Technology Center in Knoxville where she finished as salutatorian. She is a Certified Phlebotomy Technician and also holds her Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate. April’s love of helping others leads to compassionate care and dedication to the patients of Southeastern Dermatology.
Jessica joined our practice after completing an internship as a Medical Assistant in August 2011. She is a graduate of the Medical Assistant program at Tennessee Technology Center in Knoxville, where she finished in the top four of her class. Jessica obtained her Medical Assisting Certification in November 2011 and she also earned her certification as a Phlebotomy Technician as well. When asked why she wanted to be a medical assistant she replied, “I’m not me unless I am helping others.”
Aracely Sanchez joined our staff August 2014 after completing an internship with us as a medical assistant and graduating from the Medical Assistant Program at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology. She also holds her Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certificate. Being fluent in English and Spanish, she is a wonderful translator to our Hispanic patients as she enjoys helping others and caring for all of our patients.
Tawnee Mock joined our staff in January of 2015 after relocating to Knoxville from West Texas. She has 6 years of administrative medical experience, 3 of which were in a dermatology office. As our Check-Out Coordinator, Tawnee strives to make each and every patients experience an enjoyable one from start to finish!
Certified Medical Coder
Megan Ford joined our staff October 2014. She is a certified medical coder, receiving her certificate from Doctors Management. She brings a wealth of knowledge from her 10 years of medical experience. A native of Knoxville,TN, she is a huge supporter of the VOLS! As our Cosmetic Checkout Coordinator it is her personal goal to exceed expectations in providing exceptional care and service to our patients.
Andrea is a Knoxville native and comes to us with 7 years of experience in the beauty and skincare industry. She is a licensed aesthetician and a graduate of the Aveda Institute with a passion for great skincare and helping clients with a regimen which helps them love the skin they’re in. She also holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Campbell University and is committed to volunteering her time with several local charities and community groups. In her time off she enjoys spending time with family and friends and walks with her two dogs.
Megan Bozeman joined our staff in December 2015 after completing an internship with us as a Medical Assistant. She graduation from the Medical Assistant program at Virginia College School of Business & Health, with her Associate’s Degree in Applied Science. She is a Certified Phlebotomy Technician and holds her Cardiopulmonary resuscitation certificate. Megan has a thriving passion for working in the medical field. She loves helping others and hopes to make a difference in the lives of our patients here at Southeastern Dermatology.
Carolina comes from Florida with 4 years of medical assistance experience in Dermatology. She is bilingual and loves helping others. Carolina is very compassionate and caring and strives to make every patient’s experience an enjoyable one. In her free time, she loves to train in the martial arts of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and she recently won the gold in her very first tournament.
Patient Care Coordinator
Cheryl joined out staff in March, 2017. She has over twenty-five years’ experience in the medical field, specifically dermatology. Raised in Knoxville, Cheryl attended Pellissippi State majoring in business. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends and photography.
